There is nothing like having people in one room and seeing their faces as they discuss the topic in question….it gives a very personal and honest look into the subject being discussed. IDI’s are often conducted over the phone as well as in person in the respondents home. Accompanied shops are IDI’s but within the shopping environment so the researcher can see at point of choice/sale how the consumer thinks.
